The attempt of the Danish racing cyclist, Ole Ritter, to recapture the most desired and most difficult record within professional cycling: one hour's ride ona racing track. The attempts took place in Mexico City in November 1974. The film describes among other things Ole Ritter's special training on the advanced racer, which was made for the purpose and the psychical charge which is an absolute condition for a concentrated performance at that level.
