剧情简介
名年仅16岁的少女非常厌倦学校和家庭的生活，选择了离家出走。她认识了宇和岛上的痴汉，又遇见了一个流动艺术团，还一度加入了他们的行列。只是不久以后，她又一个人上路了。少女不小心摔倒在路边，一个以卖鱼为生的中年男子木村把她带到自己家中，并很细心地照顾她，直到她安全康复。少女渐渐对木村产生了情意。由于参与赌博木村被警察拘捕，被放回的晚上少女亲了她。拿不定主意的少女哭泣着往家走去，却在路上听说邻居的姑娘加代已经自杀而死。对此少女并不觉得多么意外，她想如果自己没有出走也可能如此。她又回到木村家中，二人紧紧拥抱开始亲热，均有一种莫名的安全感。随后少女与木村结为夫妻做贩鱼的生意。在给妈妈的信中少女这样写道：“我很满足自己现在的生活，我认为这是我理想的生活方式。”
The opening film [of the Japanese Film Week@The Film Society in New Zealand in 1975], Journey Into Solitude is very much an affair between an adoring camera and a radiant young girl, who runs away from her unmarried mother on a glorious summer's day and at first is carried along by the sheer joy of living. She meets a pilgrim, stays a while with a travelling theatre, learns to take advantage of the people who played the same game with her. Inevitably, she discovers the hardships of homelessness, illness and of nursing a grudge against her mother, and decides to try a modest life with a fisherman who has been kind to her. It's a charming, rather wistful, little fable.
